Phishing
The fraudster deceive the victim by means of winning, paying, checking personal information, etc., and let the victim enter their personal information or password on fraudster’s website.
After the fraudster obtains the password, he or she immediately logs in to the correct website to change the password, steal personal and bank card information in the account.
Virus & Trojan Horse
The fraudster distributes the Trojan via fake websites, emails or fake links.
After the victim inadvertently installs, the Trojan will continuously transmit the personal information such as the bank card and password in the electronic device to the fraudster.
Fake Website
The fraudster uses a similar layout to the official website or attaches a fake address to the high imitation email to convince the victim that he is browsing the official website.
Fraudsters can phishing and implant Trojans through fake websites.
Beware of fake mail links
As shown in the following figure, the link address in the email appears to be remit.zgr.sg, but when you move the cursor over the link, the mail client displays its real address.
If you accidentally click on the link, the fraudster may steal the data through a phishing website or via a network Trojan.
Beware of fake email identity
As shown in the figure below, although the sender’s name shows “Zhongguo Remittance”, the domain name of ccremit.com is NOT the official website of ZGR Global Pte Ltd (formerly Zhongguo Remittance Pte Ltd). We will not send emails through this domain name.
Our website is zgr.sg.
Our email address ends with “zgr.sg” (new) and “zhongguoremittance.com” (phasing out).
Don’t click on unknown links
Fraudsters send bulk messages with fake links, and they may use fake URLs that look similar to real websites or use short links to hide fake URLs.
Common short links are: goo.gl, bit.ly, aka.ms, etc.
Not all short links are fake links. It is recommended to restore the short URL to confirm the real URL before clicking, and determine whether it is the official website.
Please remember to check if the website URL is the official website, before entering your personal information (e.g. account number, password, OTP, etc.)
Beware of fake SMS identity
Have you received any SMS that told you to pay an additional “service fee” via a link? Be careful! The SMS may not send by us, it may be a scam!
They may use iMessage or some unauthorised SMS provider to sent those SMS with name “ChangCheng”. Our sender ID ChangCheng is registered at SGNIC. Start from 2023, sender name of all unautorized SMSes will be “Likely-SCAM”.
Keep this tips in mind:
Do NOT provide your username, password, OTP to anyone.
Verify the authenticity of SMSes, emails and calls.

⚠ How can you protect yourself from this?
- Always check that you are using the official ZGR Global website.
- Always type the ZGR Global Official website URL directly into the address bar of your browser.
Official website: zgr.sg, Web Remit: remit.zgr.sg. - Always verify the details in messages from ZGR Global. Always check that the message reflects your intended actions and do not proceed or authorize suspicious transactions.
- Never disclose your ID, password or One-Time Password (OTP) to anyone, including our staff or law enforcement officers.
- For your account security and safety, please do not “root” or “jailbreak” your device.
- If you find suspicious transactions in your account, please contact us immediately.
Customers are also encouraged to use the latest versions of internet browsers, which may provide advanced security features such as anti-phishing and forged website identification. If such features are available, customers are advised to turn them on.
